TCT - The Time/Color Test

What does the test measure? Testing FAQs
The detector measures testee's perception of time depending on the colors which s(he) sees.

Known Lüscher colortest uses subjective judgments of colors. TCT gets objective  estimations.

Results of the test can be interpreted by using existing  in psychology explanations of color preferences. 

The version of the program is only for home (not for commercial) use.

The main requirement of the test - to press the left button of the mouse with equal time intervals, for example, exactly once within a second without using external rhythm sources. To strengthen influence of colors a darkened room is recommended. The first five readouts are waived aside. The total number of readouts - (1*S)*3.

S - amount of colors - 27.

If you wish to remove The task bar, it can be made by unchecking of flag "To arrange atop of all windows"

 

What is standard deviation?
Standard deviation (see math statistics) in TCT is calculated for the data normalized so that to get the average = 1. Then the standard deviations are multiplied by 100.

What are platforms for the program?
The program was tested in Windows 98SE, Millenium, 2000 SP2 and XP.
